Reckoning Esports advance to Main Event of ESL India 2019 Summer Season
Reckoning Esports, which signed Myanmar Dota2 Team “Veteran” in February 2019, advance to the biggest local league in India, ESL India Premiership 2019 Masters League Phase 2. Main event will be held on 29th and 30th June 2019 at Dublin Square from Mumbai, India.
Together with Reckoning Esports, Signify, Entity Gaming and Global eSports from India will fight for 1,025,000 Indian Rupees (around 14,800 USD) on the main stage. First team will take around 7,600 USD home and second team will be awarded around 3,600 USD. Third and fourth team will receive around 1,800 USD each.
InsaNe, Leo, ShowT, RapRap and Kenji of Reckoning Esports performed well in group stage with 5 wins 2 loss in 7 games and placed third with Hero Kills differences. Since they lost to two out of three teams from Main Event in group stage matches, Signify and Entity Gaming, they need to learn from their mistakes in group stage and play their best in Main Event.
Main Event format is single elimination with Bo3 for all games. Reckoning Esports will be playing with Signify first and if they win, they will face the winner of Global Esports and Entity Gaming as Grand Final match.
This is the first challenge for Reckoning Esports players who just started bootcamping in India just a month ago. If they have settled at new bootcamp and can perform like they did in WESG 2018, you will see five Burmese players who will be lifting the trophy of ESL India Premiership Summer Season on 30th July in Dublin Square.
P.S – You can watch the exclusive interview of Kenji and ShowT from RG Dota2 and Gaming Noodle’s founder ‘KoBoo” in Burmese language here.
